Ok so yesterday I was still sick. So no exercising. I did
have quiet time again throughout the day. I had oatmeal for breakfast,
cucumbers and rice and an orange for lucn and some sort of rice and veggies and
meat for dinner(to be honest, I don’t remember exactly what it was, I forgot to
write it down because of being sick). I’ve noticed I’ve pretty much cut out
most sweet things and crappy food for me in general. Which is surprising because
it wasn’t really one of my goals that I’ve set. But I think it’s helping me
reach other ones… I have been working on memorizing the verses in 1 Corinthians
9:24-27 as a daily reminder to me of the need for self discipline. It
says: Don’t you know that the runners in
a stadium all run, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way to win
the prize. Now everyone who competes exercises self-control in everything. However they do it to receive a crown that
will fade away, we for a crown that will never fade. Therefore, I do not run
like one who runs aimlessly, or bow like one beating the air. Instead, I
discipline my body and bring it under strict control. So that after preaching
to others, I myself may not be disqualified.
